Manchester City 2000 Haaland No 15 Retro Shirt
Alf-Inge Haaland joined Manchester City in the summer of 2000. So did the former FIFA World Player of the Year, Ballon d'Or and Onze d'Or winner George Weah. So did Paolo Wanchope. So did Steve Howey. All four made their MCFC home FA Premier League debuts in a 4-2 victory versus Sunderland in August 2000, when Alfie Haaland No15 scored his first City goal and Paolo Wanchope scored a hat-trick. Haaland No15, scored again in the 2-0 Maine Road victory versus Bradford City in October when Paul Dickov also scored for City. In December Alfie Haaland No15 scored his third and final City goal in the 2-2 away score draw versus Aston Villa when Paolo Wanchope scored again too. Alfie Haaland made more appearances than any other City player in the 2000-2001 FAPL season when Shaun Goater top-scored with 11 goals in all competitions, Danny Tiatto was Manchester City Player of the Year, and Shaun Wright-Phillips was Manchester City Young Player of the Year. For the record:- To date only two footballers who have represented Manchester City have ever won the Onze d'Or, and they're George Weah and Alfie's son Erling Haaland.
