 Ronald Koeman will always be remembered in Barcelona’s history for scoring the goal that handed Barça victory in the 1992 European Cup Final at Wembley, when his free kick in extra-time clinched a 1-0 victory against Sampdoria. A central member of Johan Cruyff’s “Dream Team”, alongside Pep Guardiola, Michael Laudrup, Hristo Stoichkov, Julio Salinas and Jose Mari Bakero, Koeman scored an incredible 102 goals in 6 years at Barca but, none more memorable than the one that clinched Barcelona’s first European Cup on 20 May 1992. Koeman made 345 appearances in his six years at Barça, and as well as winning The European Cup in 1992, Koeman and Cruyff’s Dream Team won La Liga in 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994.
